Are you a student who loves dancing?
During the Grand Prix van Alkmaar, we host a special student competition in the evening session, where fun, socializing and a great atmosphere take center stage. Whether you already have experience in competitive dancing or are simply looking for an exciting dance adventure, everyone is welcome.
The KaasKoppenTrofee is an open competition:
- No need to be a member of the NADB or any other dance association
- For beginners and experienced competitors alike
- All you need: enthusiasm, a passion for dancing, and a valid student status
Choose Your Competition
There are four categories, split across two competitions. Pick where you want to compete below — you are welcome to sign up for both.
KaasKoppenTrofee
The main competition, for students taking to the floor with their own dance partner.

- You dance with your own partner
Blind Date Cup
No dance partner? No problem. For the Blind Date competitions, you will be paired with another participant. It's a fun and accessible way to meet new people and enjoy the dance floor together.
